  • How far is Bonnie Hotel from the station or airport?

    We’re in the West End, part of the New Town of Edinburgh, just a few minutes walk from Haymarket Station. The distance from major stations are airport are listed below

    Haymarket Station: 0.2 miles, 4 mins walk.

    Edinburgh Airport: 20-30 mins by Bus or Tram (every 8 mins) from Haymarket Station, 20-30 mins by Taxi.

    Waverley Station: 20-30 mins by walk, 15-20 mins by Bus (every 5 mins) from stops around Haymarket Station, 10-15 mins by Taxi.

  • Do you have parking?

    We have no parking available for guests. 


    Please note, Bonnie Hotel is in a traffic-controlled zone of Edinburgh, however, public transport is a great option. Haymarket Train Station and two West End Tram stops are both 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

  • Can I store my bags before Check-in or following Check-out?

    If you need to store your bags before check-in or after check-out, we recommend the Stasher luggage storage facility located at THE HUB hotel by Premier Inn (next door) – 24 Torphichen St, just one block away. It’s open daily from 7 am to 11 pm and is the most convenient option. You can book a space and view the most current rates here:

  • What are the check-in and check-out times at Bonnie Hotel?

    Check-in at Bonnie Hotel is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00.


    Check in is available from 3pm on the day you arrive, you may request an early check in at the time of booking. We will then make a note of this on your booking and do our utmost to accommodate your request, however we cannot guarantee it will be available. 


    Please be ready to leave the room by 11am, late check outs can be requested at the time of booking.

  • What is keyless check-in?

    We use smart technology to make your stay simple. On booking, you’ll be asked to access a web page (Guest App) which enables you to unlock your room during your stay.  Alternatively, you can gather the Key Code from your email confirmations. 


    The Guest App have various key information for your stay, such as KEYS,  Detailed FaQs, WIFI, ROOM GUIDE, RECCOMENDATIONS, MINIBAR REQ, CHAT, ETC. 


    You won’t need to complete a check-out process either: when you depart, your smart ‘key’ will deactivate, and our cleaning team will be notified. 

  • How much does it cost to stay at Bonnie Hotel?

    The prices at Bonnie Hotel may vary depending on your stay (e.g. dates you select, hotel's policy etc.). Please see the prices by entering your dates.


  • Can I bring my pet with me?

    Pets are not allowed within the hotel's premises .

  • Can I bring my dog with me?

  • What are parking options closeby?

    For all parking needs, the most convenient option is Q-Park Capital Square parking is located underneath the Capital Square development on West Approach Road, Edinburgh EH3 8BP. It is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The what3words for car park entrance: ///encounter.roof.aside

    For short parking, up to 4 hours, the closest parking on street paid parking is on Canning Street. This is less than a minute from Hotel. Similar on-street parking is available on Rutland Square, Grosvenor Street, Coates Crescent, Walker Street, etc. All these locations are 5-10 mins walk from Hotel.   • Do you serve breakfast or lunch ?

    There is no restaurant in the building but we have collaborated with our neighbours at VOCO Edinburgh (at no.46 Torphichen Street) for offering breakfast to our guests.

     

    VOCO serves an excellent buffet breakfast for £16.95 for Bonnie Hotel guests, payable at the VOCO hotel. VOCO also has an all day restaurant and bar. Breakfast is served from 8:00 am-10:00 am. Lunch is served from 12:00pm-3:30 pm, and Dinner from 3:30 pm-9:15 pm.

    Alternatevely,  just a block away, the Hub by Premier Inn Edinburgh Haymarket is a great spot for a quick breakfast or a quick-bite. Their value breakfast menu includes fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, porridge, juice, and tea or coffee. The quick-bite menu features options like Tortilla Chips & Dip, pizza, pasta, curry, and desserts. Guests can also enjoy coffee, drinks, and an all-day bar.  Lastly, at Hub, Luggage storage is available through Stasher for a small fee.  


  • What wellness facilities are on offer and can I use them?

    We do not have a inhouse wellness facility, however, we have collaborated with our neighbours at VOCO Edinburgh (at no.46 Torphichen Street). 


    Fitness centre cost: £15 day pass for Bonnie Hotel guests payable on arrival at the hotel for access.

  • Do you arrange airport/train transfers?

    Airport transfers can be arranged by requesting it via our application during the online check-in process. Please note, we require 48 hours notice to guarantee pick-up.

    Travel time from the airport is approximately 30 minutes, both taxis and trams are also readily available.


  • What is your smoking policy?

    Bedrooms and all public areas including bars and restaurants are vape and smoke free zones. Please be aware that a breach of the non-smoking policy in your bedroom or balcony will incur an additional charge up to the full room rate.


  • Do you have any accessible rooms?

    The townhouse is a listed building which meant the building fabric particularly the 4 steps from the footpath could not be altered. Hence, the entry to the hotel has a couple of steps to the main door of the townhouse. There are 3 rooms on the ground floor. The upper floor rooms are accessible by staircase. 

  • Do you have a laundry or dry cleaning service?

    Currently, we do not offer laundry or dry cleaning service.


  • Can I have a party/event in my room?

    Parties/events are not allowed.


  • Are children and babies welcome in the hotel?

    Children of any age are welcome. Please check the room occupancy while booking, not all rooms have more than 2 occupancy. Occupancy is inclusive of children. 

    Babies up to age of 2 can opt for a baby travel cot in all our Suites. Classic and Single rooms  are not suitable for babies due to the restriction of space for cot.


  • What are the safety & security measures in the hotel?

    Safety and security measures include Fire extinguishers, CCTV outside property, CCTV in common areas, Smoke alarms, secure mobile key access, 24-hour security, and Safety deposit box.

  • Can I request additional beds or cots?

    Unfortunately we cannot provide additional beds, however cots are available on request for any bookings in the Suites.

  • How do I get further Help ?

    Drop us a message with any questions before your stay. There’s an intercom you can use to get in touch with us if you need anything during your stay.  Guest App has a CHAT function for quick response.
